Price: $600 for 8 shares, plus a $17.70 online credit card processing fee. For online purchases, payment will be required prior to the start of the season. Alternatively, you can purchase the entire season upfront in-store. To avoid the credit card processing fee, payment can be made using cash, check, or debit card in-store. What: Seasonal Eats CSF subscribers will enjoy access to a bountiful season of fresh, locally farmed produce, artisanal value-added foods, premium pastured/grass-fed meats, and culinary delights curated just for you. The contents of a share will vary biweekly depending on what is seasonally available within our local network.
When: Every other Friday from May 17 - August 23 2024. Pick-up days are on Friday afternoons after 1 pm or the following Saturday mornings. For optimal freshness, we recommend pick-ups on Fridays if possible.

Vegetarian: This subscription includes locally farmed produce, artisanal pantry items, and/or locally baked goods in our vegetarian subscription. Priced and sized equivalently to the Omnivore option, the Vegetarian share includes additional non-meat items of equal value to the featured meat item of the week. Each share is thoughtfully curated to inspire your culinary adventures with themed groupings of food items to bring creativity to your meal prep and planning. Plus, we'll provide accompanying recipes, offering the ideal starting point for crafting delicious meals.
Exclusive Facebook Group:
Subscribers gain access to an exclusive private Facebook Group called "Local Roots Seasonal Eats CSF". The group facilitates sharing of photos, recipes, and connections among members. The Facebook group remains active even as the CSF program transitions to a new season.
Communication: Subscribers will receive an email notifying when the pickup is ready as well as detailing the contents of each share. Subscribers can enjoy fresh, seasonal foods while also connecting with the local community through Local Roots' Seasonal Eats CSF program.

Subscribers can indicate dietary restrictions upon sign-up, with options for omnivore and vegetarian preferences. Disclaimer: we cannot guarantee there will be no cross contamination for other allergy preferences including but not limited to: peanuts, tree nuts, gluten, dairy, seafood, sesame, eggs etc. The Local Roots crew will do their best to accommodate preferences and allergies, but complete adherence may not always be possible. Please note that we do not offer vacation pauses for subscriptions. If you're planning to travel during your subscription period, we encourage you to consider sharing with a friend or neighbor by either selling or donating your share to them. Alternatively if you send an email to Kate with at least seven days notice, we're happy to donate your share to the Wooster Hope Center on your behalf, ensuring that the harvest reaches those in need within our community.
