How it Works:

• Drop off your clothes at Local Roots during the donation period.

  • 2-12 item limit per participant.

  • Acceptable items: Women's, mens and children's pants, jeans, shirts, sweaters, hoodies, jackets, skirts, dresses & shoes.

  • *Note: Items must be clean upon arrival. Quality of clothing will be reviewed upon drop off, and can be rejected by staff if the item is too worn, stained, broken etc. Any clothing not accepted for swap can still be taken and donated by Local Roots to the local thrift store.

• Receive 1 ticket in exchange for every article of clothing accepted.

  • Local Roots members receive 3 bonus tickets as a membership perk.

  • Up to 15 tickets possible!

• Come to our Parking Lot Swap on August 10th.

  • Choose what you take home from the other donated clothes in exchange for your tickets. Each item you take home will "cost" one ticket. Items are first come, first serve so we recommend you come on the earlier part of the event for the best choices!

• Grab your coffee.

  • BooBear’s Brew will have coffee setup outside available for purchase!

• Swap!

  • Extra tickets will be available for purchase at time of event at $5 per ticket.
